Marketing Manager – Manufacturing

The Marketing Manager will lead our marketing and advertising efforts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Development and execution of company marketing strategy and plans.
  • Review of markets to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules and discount rates and formulating the information to develop successful marketing campaigns.
  • Development of advertising plans and creation of sales and marketing materials, information, training, and tools.
  • Evaluate competitive products and pricing and provide management with strategic recommendations.
  • Develop distribution management policies that enhance global sales efforts.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate marketing mix (i.e. print, web, etc.).
Knowledge/Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis on marketing / sales.
  • 4-5 Years Experience in Marketing, within a manufacturing company, and a proven successful track record.
  • Ability to think strategically as well as execute and implement.
  • Strong analytical skills; data driven.  Ability to take large amounts of data, identifies key issues and opportunities, and move quickly to address or capitalize on them.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish or English / Chinese is preferred).
  • Familiarity with and understanding of global markets.

International Sales Rep – Manufacturing

This dynamic individual will use their knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm to keep PolyScience moving forward in expanding our business while increasing their personal knowledge and experience as part of an extremely diverse team.

This position is 80% non-travel (inside sales), and 20% travel.  Must be willing to travel to places such as; China, India, Taiwan, and Australia.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to international customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax
  • Providing application assistance to customers
  • Problem solving
  • Entering customer orders
  • Providing support to meet departmental sales goals and objectives
  • Preparing and following up on product quotations
  • Creating, implementing, and managing sales programs and promotions
  • Identifying, evaluating, and contacting prospects and leads
  • Achieving sales goals
  • Planning and conducting product training for customers and distributors
Knowledge/Education/Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years customer service or inside sales experience
  • Bi-lingual (English / Spanish or English / Chinese)
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office
  • Creativity
  • Above average problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of sales practices and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous business travel experience to Pacific Rim / India preferred

Manufacturing/Quality Technician


A "hands-on, go-to person" needed for troubleshooting production line (small electro-mechanical components housed in powder coated sheet metal boxes) issues in our growing manufacturing facility located in Niles.  Good communication and Excel skills a must. Gage calibration a plus

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work with production and quality department associates to identify, contain and resolve internal quality issues (i.e., root cause and corrective action).
  • Work with production associates, buyers and quality engineers to identify, contain, and resolve supplier quality issues (i.e., root cause and corrective action).
  • Work with various departments to identify and implement opportunities for improvement
  • Manage the calibration program.
  • Manage the non-conforming material system including the containment, disposition, and as applicable, the return of material to suppliers.
  • Manage the non-conforming material system
  • Other activities as directed.

Education/Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

  • Assocates degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Quality, etc.) or equivalent experience.
  • Fundamental knowledge of small electro-mechanical components
  • Computer literate
  • Written and verbal communication.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a well-organized workspace

CAD / Mechanical Design Technician – Manufacturing

Knowledge/Education/Experience/Skills

  • Associates degree min., with 1-2 years of manufacturing/CAD experience.
  • Basic understanding of refrigeration
  • Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements (CE/CSA), and ISO9001 documentation standards.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing a plus.
  • Experienced in SolidWorks CAD software.
  • Knowledgeable of electro/mechanical packaging, components and assemblies.
  • Working with hand & power tools to perform manual assembly of designs/prototypes.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop equipment (basic turning & milling equipment, break press).
Responsibilities will include:
  • Contributing to inter-departmental projects.
  • Documentation of purchase/manufactured parts, sub assemblies, and finished goods.
  • Handle all CAD projects and maintain routers & BOM.
  • Working with engineering to design/assemble other prototypes.
  • Training others how to make that part consistently and efficiently.
