The PolyScience Model 9406 Cryoprecipitate Bath is designed to safely and reliably thaw fresh frozen plasma (FFP) for the recovery of cryoprecipiated antihemophilic factor (AHF). Extremely easy to operate, the only user controls are a power switch and timer. Thawing temperature is preset at 4°C and maintained with ±0.1°C stability.
The Model 9406 features a 13.8 gallon reservoir large enough to simultaneously thaw 12 to 24 units of FFP or whole blood. The reservoir opening measures a generous 13 x 20-5/8 inch (33.02 x 52.51 cm) and is covered by a fully removable, center-hinged lid. Other standard features include built-in over-temperature and low-liquid flow alarms, calibration offset, high-efficiency fluid filter, reservoir drain valve, and removable air filter.
